about
Once upon a time in the golden age of multimedia… Paul Florian Bruchhäuser began his professional career as a Lingo Director Programmer in 1995 while still finishing his degree in Media Engineering. He fell in love with 3D animation and, combining it with his coding skills, started working as a freelance 3D Artist and Technical Director in 1996.
In 2005 he took on the role of FX-Animator at Dreamworks Animation in Glendale, California. However, the dream of his own VFX boutique was stronger than the magic of Hollywood and so he went back to Germany and co-founded Lafourmi Postproduction.
Being an entrepreneur was amazing — less amazing was all the annoying administrative work that was now part of his daily work life. So after five years and realizing that he was detached from what he wanted and could do best, he joined forces with his old competitive friend LIGA01 Computerfilm GmbH as CTO in 2012.
In 2019 he went back to his roots - doing stuff with computers, cameras and his soldering iron. Part of his daily research is simply driven by breaking big problems into smaller ones and getting the most out of available resources without losing artistic focus.
